The Registrar of Voters is appointed by the Madison Parish Police Jury. The Registrar of Voters’ office is responsible for the registration of all voters and the administration of elections in Madison Parish.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Enforcement of the laws, rules and regulations regarding registration of voters
- Maintain voters roll listing
- Suspend felons
- Remove deceased
- Manage Absentee Voting
- Canvass voter rolls annually
